A nice Parador hotel in a new building. Good sized room, good outdoor parking with no height restriction. A bit of a walk into town, with a short section on an unlit road without footpath. We didn't see a taxi rank in town.

What a fantastic property, for years i’ve ignored the Paradores- no idea why. Great value, great staff and amazing properties. This is the best solution to keep these properties in good stead to be enjoyed for future generations. Paradores for me from now on.

Property itself was nice, lots of parking for free, no surcharge as advertised on the website, which is misleading. We had problems checking in as we didn’t have a booking voucher, which the receptionist asked for. The room itself was basic, no tea/coffee making facilities, tv had limited channels, as half of them didn’t work.

Modern Parador 2 km outside town. Rooms well equipped and property is in very good condition. Plenty of parking. Restaurant generally pretty good and service excellent. Teruel is a very interesting place!

Travelling to Santander from Murcia this is a convenient place to stop. On the main road so no town centre navigation. Quiet with ample free parking.

Great value, paradores is my favorite hotel chain. I would suggest to lower the heating a bit during springtime as sometimes is necessary to open the windows, and there is a high traffic road nearby. This will save money in heating costs and avoid the hassle to more demanding customers.

I stayed overnight on way back from Bilbao to Costa Blanca. This hotel was perfect for a solo traveller. Just off the main road, parking at front so no steep underground car parks. Staff couldn't have been more helpful.

Safe and quiet overnight stop
Very easy access from the motorway for our overnight stop so we didn't use the tennis courts or pool. Covid safety was first class throughout. The hotel itself was very comfortable and the room was a good size with two very large single beds. No outside noise overnight or in the corridors so we had a great nights sleep. The restaurant had menus in English and we were both impressed with the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. Breakfast was a buffet service with a wide range of food but without any of the usual fried buffet range. Juices were individual bottles and you get a pair of tongs to eliminate cross contamination. Parking was plentiful in the hotel grounds and we would definitely recommend it.

This was the first Parador hotel I had stayed in the hotels and famous through Spain for the excellence... this one although an older style was pristine and I had a sumptuous (no their word to describe it ) evening meal ... the service was perfect not stuffy but attentive without being intrusive. Slightly out of the centre of town but for me that wasn’t an issue .

All good. Excellent location just out of town making for a quick entry onto motorways etc. Lovely building beautifully furnished, good breakfast. For snacks in the bar in the evening, try the club sandwich! - excellent! .

Enjoied local food with relaxing environment.
Could be very relax with garden pool. As opened until 8:30pm, good place to wait for the late dinner here in Spain. At breakfast buffet or BBQ dinner, enjoyed a lot of local foods including of various types of cheeses and jamon. Also, 24 hours check-in made our plan been flexible.

Parador in the middle of Spain.
Lovely old building but not ancient(1950s)lots of marble very spacious. Helpful staff. No food between 4 until 8.30although bar was open. Rooms very big with balcony but no kettle or drinks(hot) although there was a mini bar. Breakfast was fabulous. Parking was easy just beside entrance. The town was interesting and in the Mudejar style as was the hotel.

We think the Paradors are over_ratedThe reception staff were totally unhelpful.We were cold in our room and the heating did not come on until late in the evening.As the hotel is out of town we were stuck with this situation and the staff could not help as they spoke no english so no problem could be conveyed to them.The other hotels we stayed at on this trip were so helpful.

Worth a short stay
Just one night as part of a tour of different paradors, this one was pretty much average compared to the others. Beds are always comfortable but TV choice and wifi in this case was poor. Food was good but they refused to accept our discount voucher from a previous parador (food) because we did not pass it to the restaurant staff first ! not happy to lose 15% on food that was over priced and a very poor selection for vegetarians and vegans. Teruel is set in beautiful countryside yet it manages to be quite bland and of little real interest so probably best to stay for just one night and do the town in half a day. There are better paradors relatively nearby if you want a longer stay. Do visit the middle of spain around the circumference of Madrid, the whole area is lovely and there are plenty of festivals on during the first weeks in September, plus the worst of the holiday rush is over.

Parador Teruel
Very comfortable stay. Had all the usual things you’d expect. It had s swimming pool & tennis court. Added bonus was that you could sit out & have a BBQ in the evening in the well kept garden. Rooms a bit dated but OK. My only gripe was that they are not dog friendly so we had to let the dog sleep in the car. I think all Paradors have this rule.

Truell is outside of Albarracin, about 30 km. Tiny quiet village. Not much there. Ate at Los Caprichos, nice Italian restaurant.
