first time at the big house
we have stayed at the small one three doors down, so this time we has the same view but more space. the roof is better - more private, there's a screen. the downstairs balcony is better too, quite a bit bigger, and less sea spray since it's slightly higher up. the rest was equally brilliant - the view, the sound of the sea, the access to the town. It's just a great place to stay.

Lovely House on the Sea
This house was lovely with the perfect location on the sea front and central to the village so good for supermarkets and bars/restaurants. The house was very clean had good facilities. We had some issues with the plumbing but this was sorted straight away by the owner. We would definitely stay here again.

Incredible
Amazing property. Actually on the seafront. Huge rooms with a rooftop terrace (not overlooked) with breathtaking views of the area. The sea can be a bit noisy when the tide is in at night but it is within a few seconds walk from local coffee shops, restaurants and bars. Very close to a nice beach and taxi ranks (€20 from airport) with a relaxed vibe. Owner is very welcoming and helpful. A wonderful holiday!

With views like this you can’t go wrong
This was our second stay at this lovely house and we were not disappointed - it lived up to our happy memories entirely, with some new improvements too! Apparently there was a new TV but I was much more excited by the new dishwasher and the parking space in a local car park (right next door to one of our favourite cafe/bars although now much more rowdy than we have have enjoyed it for years!) - genius in an ever busier El Médano and saved hours of trawling the streets for a space. In terms of location, the town definitely doesn’t have the tranquil, ‘our little secret’ feel any more that we have enjoyed for years, but when you close the front door and look out at the sea, the house is still a secret treasure!

This is a gem. A beautiful house in a priceless location.
I was pleasantly surprised the photos are a great indication of how great this house is. What a brilliant location, right on the water. The photographs dont convey the atmospheric lull of the sea, which was thrilling when there was wind, and relaxing when there wasnt. The house itself must be one of the oldest homes in Medano if the photos in the tourist office are accurate and it has aged very very well. We had the most wonderful and warm greeting by the owners with some welcome gifts of chocolate, coffee and wine and we immediately felt at home. The house has good 3 bathrooms for 4 bedrooms, PLUS two more bathrooms....one right on the deck at the sea and the other up on the roof for anybody sunbathing. There was plently of space for everyone both inside the house and outside on the deck or on the roof with sunloungers. Everyone could find their own quiet spot if they wanted, and then one step out the house front door you are in the pedesteranised street with shops, restuarants and music. The beds were very comfortable, the showers good, and the kitchen very well equipped (including the Nespresso machine). TV is a smart TV, so use Netflix if you need, but rarely necessary. I would go back in a flash and wish I was there now.

The property was brilliant. There was everything you needed and it was very welcoming.
A very comfortable house, with an amazing spot over the sea, and an amazing location. It was so lovely to wake up every morning and look out to sea, from your bedroom, and watch the kite surfers. We would then go and have a coffee on the veranda , then potter off for our daily shopping. We particularly liked also, how Spanish the resort was.

Great location, ground floor and rooftop amazing . Bedrooms decent size but paper thin walls can hear everything clearly. One bedroom has a joint shower toilet with front (sea facing bedroom!!) not a good idea! All in all fab holiday

A holiday home in a perfect spot
The rear aspect offers an uninterrupted view of the bay, the waves lapping under the veranda, providing peaceful viewing of the colourful wind and kite surfing. Yet step out of the front door and you are straight into the buzz of this pretty town. The house is spacious and well equipped. The roof terrace with its own kitchen for al-fresco dining and barbecues is a splendid facility. Booking was efficient and the personnel with whom we had contact were pleasant and helpful.. The lack of English channels on the TV (this is flagged up when booking, to be fair) means a heavy reliance on the wi-fi which was not always able to cope with the demand. The pre-let cleaning was adequate but not thorough. This is an attractive property and we would not hesitate to use it again.

I am glad that you enjoyed some barbacues on February. We are considering to include some European channels in the future, but yes at the moment I have to admit that we only have a DVD player and wifi. Fantastic space and gorgeous views - hard to do them justice on camera
If you are looking for pristine luxury then this may not be the place for you, however to write it off on that basis would mean missing out on one of the most special places we have stayed. Despite being in the heart of the ever busier El Medano with great cafés, bars, restaurants and shops on your doorstep as soon as you walk into this house you are transported to a place of peace and serenity. Any street noises are masked by the sound of the sea at the back (even when a band of 6 or so buskers set up right outside our door!). The space inside downstairs particularly is fantastic but even better are the generous balcony and desperate roof terrace which catch the sun from dawn til dusk. And did I mention the views??!! It is hard to describe or capture in a photo just how breath taking it is to wake up to uninterrupted sea views every morning. In addition both Ana (before we set off) and Cesar whilst we were there, were helpful, friendly but professional and took time to listen to and consider our needs. The only negative thing I can think of is that the kitchen lacked a few handy items (colander but we gifted one to the house, peeler, sharp knives although there was one...) but did have some lovely little treats for us on arrival which was great. I would thoroughly recommend this place - you won’t want to leave!

The location was perfect for us right in the centre of El Medano and overlooking the sea
This 4 bedroom house is the place to go for a relaxing holiday with the beach and a great variety of restaurants on your doorstep. The views from the deck and living accommodation are just breathtaking. All the photos on the website show just how beautiful the house is. The noise of the waves day and night are very relaxing. The house has everything needed for a family holiday and the hosts were very welcoming and accommodating even supplying an extra fan upon request. For anyone with a car however parking can take a few circuits of the town to find. Overall a lovely house. Will definately book again.

The house is sitauted on a pedestrian lane near the beach so yes you have to walk a few minutes to find a parking. Thank you for being such nice guests!

Great house and beautiful location. Cesar meet us at the property and was really helpful.
Only two things that can be improve is that panoramic window in the bedroom were no clean and the view was not clear and finally the two rooms facing the from of house were really noise due to pool bar until really late hrs of the morning my family could not sleep properly.

Thank you for your review and for mentioning that you loved the location. Yes, that is the best of this house. Regarding the panoramic window, it is quite difficult to keep it clean after the weekly cleaning: the reason is that the high tide (sea level going up twice a day) splashing the windows with drops of wáter makes difficult to have the Windows as clare as the first day of cleaning. Yes, there is a new bar on the area closing late, so we are installing now in November some soundproofing of Windows on the two bedrooms looking to the Street, to solve it. Thank you

Fantastic house with wonderful views.
From the moment Cesar met us we felt at home and didn’t want to leave. So much so booked to come back before we left. As mentioned in other reviews location is excellent within easy reach of shops and places to eat but once in the house you feel mikes from anywhere. Loved having breakfast watching the waves and wildlife and the sun roof was a great place to chill day or night. .

Family holiday
The house is situated right on the beach with great views and is very central to everything like resturants, shops, beach and taxis and is only about 20 minutes from the airport. The house itself is fine but does need a bit of updating in the bathrooms, and would benifit from having air conditioning put in as we found it very hot at night even with the window open. It was very noisy at night due to there being a bar opposite the house open until early hours of the morning. So maybe if you have young children this is not the house for you. Apart from that we enjoyed our holiday. E.kingston

Paradise from home & minutes from TFS (no noise)
Very pleasantly surprised by the size, amenities and location of the house, which although on the main pedestrian way, was quiet and separated from the world outside once the door was closed. You can view and appreciate the surroundings in privacy from the roof, the balcony and windows without being "amongst it". If you do get the desire to get "amongst it," you can be there via walk in less than 1 minute. The local beach and square does not have the fly sellers as experienced in the larger towns and cities which was a blessing. Trips out were easily accessible via a minutes walk to local buses / stops that run every hour to Los Cristianos, Santa Cruz and cost less than a pint of beer! The house is surrounded by wonderful restaurants (and stores) all with their own character and style, and all equally delicious cuisine, all walkable and reasonably priced. Paradise from home locations such as El Medano normally come with mosquitoes and non potable water... but not here - no bites and the water is good from the tap. Shower relies upon solar water heater, so definitely take them later in the day, or use the "Sea Shower" on the deck with a kettle or two... prefect and secluded. A new(ish) 125cc scooter was available for rent 30e / day and was enough for two of us to explore the island up to Santa Cruz (the Barcelona of the island complete with "Las Ramblas"!) , taking in the beautiful Candelaria and it's Basilica. We also went up to Los Gigantes and then onwards and upwards to the Mount Teide. Definitely take a "layer or two" as ground level is 23degC and above the clouds is ~ 5-7degC And for the "lazy days" there is a great walk and exercise equipment on the boardwalk to get your heart racing before spreading out in the sun. We always say "what would we do differently?" Well probably not a lot.... next time (and there will be a next time) i shall bring some long casting rods, bubble floats and fluoro line, small hooks to get after the mullet about 15-20 mtrs off the beaches and balcony "al a locales". And a drop net as there is no direct access to the water from the balcony, which is safely barriered off and ladder removed to avoid the ealry morning low tide beachcombing intruders, climbing up to get a view ;-). All in all a perfect relaxing break, location, food and never bored once in two weeks. Highly Highly recommended especially for those looking for something quieter and cultural.T hank you Cesar & Juan Jose for a wonderful vacation.

Superb, idyllic, dramatic location
Fabulous holiday. Just 2 of us in a large 4 bedroom house. So close to the sea, at high tide the waves crash against the house, often creating a mist of seaspray over the lower terrace. Lovely to eat breakfast and lunch on the lower terrace in full sun and sparkling sea. View from both terraces sublime. The beds are new and wonderfully comfortable with good quality bedlinen. The house was purchased in recent months by current owners who have just completed a renovation project on it.The owners are very caring of the needs of the guests wanting to ensure that guests have a good holiday. The owners met us at the property on arrival and provided a welcome pack including wine and chocolates. Note there is an Nespresso coffee machine there, it is difficult to get the capsules in El Medano so take some with you if you like this coffee. A dishwasher is to be installed in the next couple of weeks. The roof terrace has a lovely kitchen with fridge and freezer making it a lovely place to spend the day sunbathing and admiring the view and kite surfers. There are a large selection of very good restaurants within a few metres. We love it and have booked to return in January. Thank you so much Cesar and Juan.

Need some care
The apartment was shortly renovated and therefore in good shape. Unfortunately the apartment is cared poorly and no attention is payed for the equipment and the fittings. Despite the glasses for Gin we found spreading out 3 waterglasses and 4 for longdrinks - an apartment for 8 persons. All the kichen equipment is quite useless. Not one of the knives really cut. In addition all the broken machines like coffee and waterboiler aren't disposed of. The same with the broken freezer, a plastic boat and a kind of wooden boared in terrace kitchen. Before the arrival of guests it would be a plus to wipe and furnish the terrace and order the equipment.

Big apartment in best possible location
We really enjoyed our stay here, highlights were: + Spacious and well furnished apartment with balcony, roof deck, and 4 showers + Top location directly in the city centre of El Médano and directly next to the ocean + Helpful contact person for check-in, check-out and additional information Some minor drawbacks, most of them easily fixable, are: - The apartment was not well cleaned, cabinets contained lots of coarse dust and we had to wash all dishes before use - The ladder to the ocean is rusted especially at the mounting point which should be fixed for safety reasons - Old kitchen equipment, the water boiler immediately lead to a fuse blowing. - During flow, waves immediately hit the house's foundation which can be a bit loud. That was all ok for us, but may be a concern for light sleepers If we were to stay in the same area again, we would not hesitate renting here again!

Super Lage, direkt am Meer mit viel Platz
Wir waren mit unserer Familie für 7 Tage dort. Die Kommunikation vorab lief Wirklich super. Die Lage vom Haus ist auch super. Direkt am Meer, über eine Leiter klettert man nach unten und ist im Meer. In 5 Minuten ist man direkt am Marktplatz. Restaurants, Bäcker und Shops sind direkt in der Nähe. 2 Strände sind auch direkt in der Nähe wo viele Kitesurfer unterwegs waren. Das Haus bietet viel Platz, große Wohnküche, 4 Schlafzimmer, 3 Badezimmer, 1 Balkon und eine Dachterrasse. Leider ist das Haus etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die Bilder sind wohl schon etwas älter. Nach Ankunft haben wir erst mal alles geputzt. Im Großen und Ganzen hat es uns aber gut gefallen.

Traumhaft schöne Wohnung!
Traumhaft schöne Wohnung in einer perfekten Lage direkt über dem Meer. Wir waren vier Personen und jeder hatte sein eigenes Zimmer mit Bad & WC, das war perfekt. Ana Reid von der Agentur und der Gastgeber César waren immer sehr hilfsbereit und haben sich sofort um unsere Anliegen gekümmert. Die Wohnung liegt im Zentrum von Médano ist trotzdem relativ ruhig. Jede Menge tolle Lokale im Umkreis und das Meer direkt an der Wohnung mit Zugang über eine Leiter direkt vom Balkon. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen. Vielen Dank dass wir in dieser wunderschönen FEWO wohnen konnten. Bis bald mal wieder.

Alles gut, todo bien
Schönes Haus für 6 Personen geräumig und gemütlich. Interessante Geräusch-Kulisse mit dem Meer direkt am Balkon, bei starker Flut tatsächlich teilweise erschreckend laute Wellen, die ans und unters Haus klatschen. Super Lage in der Stadt, alles in Lauf-Nähe! Die Einrichtung zum Kochen etwas veraltet, aber wir haben eh meistens die tollen Restaurants in der Nähe genutzt! Vielen Dank für alles! Gerne wieder!

Séjour de rêve
La maison est particulièrement agréable, fonctionnelle et très bien décorée. L'océan qui arrive juste sous la terrasse laisse une impression exceptionnelle. L'emplacement à 2 pas de commerces et de restaurants est particulièrement pratique. L'accueil sur place est parfait, toute question a un réponse quasi instantanée. Bref, que du bonheur. Nous y retournerons, c'est évident.

Sehr nette Kommunikation. Gut organisiert. Top Lage der Wohnung. Direkte Nähe zum Kite Strand. Sauber. Gute Ausstattung. Am besten gefiel uns das Grillen auf der Dachterrasse, das Schlafen bei Wellenrauschen und der morgendliche Sprung ins Meer vom Balkon. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Ein wahrer Traum
Unglaubliche Lage mitten in Medano und quasi IM Meer - einfach nur zum geniessen <3 Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, der Ausblick zu jeder Zeit traumhaft. In der Küche gibt es alles nötige, Haus hat (wer's brauch) auch Wlan und alle TV Sender. Die Kommunikation mit den Besitzern läuft super, sie waren jederzeit und für alle Fragen zu erreichen. Zwei kleine Mankos: 1. nichts für Geräusch-empfindliche Schläfer: Meer + Wind auf der einen Seite der Schlafzimmer sind laut aber toll, zur anderen Seite mehrere sehr laute Bars. 2. Nichts für Sauberkeits Fanatiker: durch Meer und Sand sind die Fenster quasi Blickdicht verdreckt. Ausserdem gibt es keinen Staubsauger -man trägt den Sand und Dreck der Terassen +von draussen durchs ganze Haus und kann nichts dagegen tun. Kleiner Tipp: es gibt zwar 8 Betten aber unter "Vollauslastung" wirds im Haus schon ganz schön eng an manchen Stellen (zB Sitzplätze oder beim Kochen) - also lieber nur mit 4-6 Personen kommen. Wir werden wieder kommen <3

Great house, great host but disturbing noise at nigjt
The host does everything he can to please his guests, reacts immediately upon every question. The house is at the sea, with wonderfull view and terraces. Great sunrises and sunsets. Close to shops and good inexpensive restaurants. There is only one negative: the bar accross the street where drunk guests start shouting in the street around 2-3pm. It helps that the windows are well isolated, but still a problem for the night rest of the ones sleeping in the rooms at the street side

Thank you very much for your description about the property, the views and the reasonable restaurants on the area. Yes, the house-being in the very centre of the Medano on a pedestrian lane- is sometimes affected by the bar opposite, especially at weekends because although it complies with all the noise regulations, when people go out to smoke, conversations can be heard. We are working on this with the town council. Thank you very much for your review!

Haus am Meer
Klasse Lage direkt am Meer mit Möglichkeit über eine Aluleiter ins Meer zu steigen. Tramhafter Ausblick von der Dachterrasse inklusive kleiner Küche mit Kühl und Gefrierschrank. Waren mit 6 Personen da und hatten mehr als ausreichend Platz und einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Leider muß man auch den Lärm den das Meer (logisch sind halt die Wellen) und die gegenüberliegende Bar machen erwähnen. Herzlichen Dank und Gruß auch an den Vermieter Carlos sehr zuvorkommend. tolles Haus, tolle Lage.
Alles super schön, kleiner Nachteil: die Zimmer zur Straße sind nachts recht laut, da eine Kneipe gegenüber liegt.

Meraviglioso come la prima volta..
Cucina riammodernata stavolta anche con la lavastoviglie che prima non c’era..sconsiglio il periodo dei primi di giugno parecchi negozi chiusi e anche ristoranti con tempo nuvoloso.. barbecue nuovo bagni nuovi disponibilità top del proprietario. C’è un ottima macelleria e due ristoranti rustici di pesce attaccati alla casa.se posso consigliare se si fa la doccia in sei non c’è acqua calda per tutti un boiler più grande sarebbe meglio. Fantastica modifica scaletta per entrare in mare per fare snorkling..ci son un sacco di pesci..col mare in tempesta su terrazzo sempre di essere sul Titanic na figata👍💯👌🤣ritornerò di sicuro..gracias para todo...

Ein Traumhaus wenn man das Meeresrauschen liebt
Das Haus ist sehr zentral , mitten in der Stadt und direkt am Meer . Sehr cool. Zwar schon etwas abgewohnt . Sanitàr anlagen mûssten erneuert werden . Càsar der Vermieter sehr bemûht und nett . Werde das Haus sicher wieder mieten. Aber eine bitte hàtte ich noch an Cåsar . Dieses haus bràuchte unbedingt 2 Geschirrspüler . Einer oben auf der Terrasse in der outdoorkûche und einem im Wohnbereich . Sonst war alles perfekt !

Fantastisch gelegen, tolle Aussicht, aber das war es auch schon! Das ganze Haus ist abgewohnt und schmuddelig! Wer nicht so genau hinschaut, kann dennoch einen tollen Urlaub direkt am Meer erleben!

La più bella vacanza della mia vita in completo relax con tutti i comfort e direttamente sul mare..casa fantastica ottime grigliate e con la scaletta che andava in mare non uscivo nemmeno di casa mi sembrava di essere in un film. extraordinaire vue mer!
maison fabuleuse, sur l'eau! dans une petite station balnéaire très sportive, surf, kitesurf, natation, running, ...Cette maison sur 3 niveaux avec 2 terrasses, 5 salles de bain, 4 chambres était parfaite pour notre tribu de 6. L' accueil de César et de son père était très chaleureux, avec toutes les attentions (kit de bienvenue, à boire, à manger, ...) La vue sur la montagne rouge et le bruit des vagues étaient incontestablement le grand "plus" de cette magnifique maison, située par ailleurs dans une ruelle piétonne avec bars, restaurants, surf shop et accès direct à 2 magnifiques plages de sable blond!Le bonheur!!
