"Great hotel - brilliant staff - stunning food - good value - no complaints"

"We weren't advised there was a pool, so we didn't get to use it. Staff were all lovely, especially receptionist who booked us in. But the second lift being out of order meant we had to wait for the lift when checking out. There was a chair in our room [118] that needed joints gluing and could have collapsed, and somewhere in the bathroom is leaking damp, resulting in a few harmless fruit flies and damagedbath panel and skirting. "

"Room very clean and beds very comfy. Bathroom was a bit small and wish the water had been hotter for the shower. Room not dated in style but the carpet was a bit worn and maybe just a bit tired but overall good, well worth a stay and good value for money. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, from checkin to dining to bar. Pool a great addition to any stay with kids but the women's locker room needed some TLC. Food was really good for both Room service and breakfast. Recommend!"

Room was quite hot and on opening window it smelt of the cooking from the hotel and next door restaurant - bed a little small and mattress well past its best but the staff and cleanliness made up for that "
