"We loved everything about our stay at Townhead from the glorious views to the cozy and thoughtfully planned house. Communication with the manager and the housekeeping staff before and during the stay was prompt and kind. The welcome drinks and food meant we didn’t have to run into Peebles when we first arrived. We unpacked and would have happily stayed much (much!) longer than a week. It’s a wonderful area to walk and explore but really, you’ll want to stay home and read or write or draw....

"We were a group aged nine to eighty. There was a lot on offer to cater for us all. There were nine of us and the place was big enough for us to spread out and enjoy varying activities. A bus stop outside going into Edinburgh was a bonus. Would highly recommend it. Does Scotland proud!"

"Little gem of a place. Inside all new. Well stocked kitchen with all pans /utensils you might need. Log burner will heat the whole house so very little central heating required. Hot tub also log fired and we were surprised how quickly it heated the water. Sitting in it at night was a joy. Really good experience"

"This was my first stay here and won’t be the last!! What a STUNNING place, the photos don’t even do it justice. We seriously LOVED being here, it was absolutely perfect for our girls weekend! The place was spotless and comfy, honestly amazing! Everything is of high luxury quality I can’t believe how lovely it was! There are Sonos speakers in the ceiling around the house and the place is kitted out with everything you need plus they even gave us a small carton of milk and a bottle of Prosecco!...

Explained to receptionist who checked and confirmed prepayment . Was horrified to see next evening I was charged again for our stay . Immediately contacted hotel who suggested I ring next morning .
