Spacious bedroom with a good bed and quality bedding. Radio and TV in the room plus tea and coffee making facilities plus welcome shortbread on arrival.
The food was excellent and the staff were friendly.
It is situated on a busy road but don’t let that put you off - see if you can get one of the quieter rooms at the back.

Had a wonderful stay (4 nights in the Stables). The Inn is set in beautiful countryside, and I loved the quaintness of the building, lots of different areas to sit in to eat or have a drink, and a nice covered seating area outside.
The room was very comfortable, and the water pressure for the bath was great. Food was superb, the best I've had in a pub (a step above what I'd call 'pub food').
