"Great people and a perfect room. Good location for visiting many places in Dorset. The inn is an old thatched building with a decent beer garden and covered outdoor eating. The food is very good pub fayre and there are interesting specials. On Friday and Saturday delicious pizzas are also served, cooked in the outdoor wood fired pizza oven Breakfast is included with the room and there are a good variety of choices with quality ingredients. A great find that we will revisit if ever on holiday...

The owners were particularly helpful in helping me to set up a charging possibility for my EV. There was an enormous range of choice for breakfast and what I chose was delivered with efficiency and cheerfulness."

"At £95 for the night I felt this was a bit much for the room I had. Bar staff were nice, no WIFI in the bedroom. A bit quiet in the bar, owner was busy on lap top and no music, not very atmospheric. The village is beautiful though"
