We have been coming to the Doubletree docklands for years now with our whole family- but In Recent years have been splurging out and booking the junior suites- as they are so worth it! The best thing hands down about this hotel is its location looking out over the river to Canary Wharf. By day you can hear the waves of the tidal Thames lapping at the shore, the sounds of the ferries going past and see the sun glinting off the buildings. Great hotel stay, couldn’t fault anything about this hotel. Great selection at breakfast. Rooms cleaned everyday, good standard of housekeeping. Aldgate/Tower Hill tube stations only 5 mins walk.

Great hotel in great location, perfect for a short stay

Really lovely, well located hotel. Seamless check in from a very friendly member of staff. Glass of fizz available in reception. Fantastic executive room on floor 12 next door to each other. Complimentary drinks in the executive lounge (timed). Nice buffet breakfast with a very friendly, helpful guy, Abdul, showing us to our table etc. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Great location, nice room we had a side view of the docks. The room is a little dated but clean and beds amazing. We had breakfast which was well worth extra money good selection and very tasty.

Excellent hotels

We would definitely stay again. Room was very well equipped & spacious. Only two things letting it down. Black mould in the shower (wasn’t loads but noticeable straight away) needs keeping on to off. Then I dropped my ring and went under the bed… the build up of dust was crazy - obviously the bed had not been moved in a very long time. But it’s not something I go looking for nor would I expect a housekeeper to bust their back moving the bed in each room - especially if they are cleaning on...

Fantastic location, great transport links. The pods are a good size and well sound proofed, and the common area has reasonably priced snacks. Definitely recommend it if you don't mind the smaller space.
