This is my 3rd visit to the Red Hall Hotel over the years, as it is ideally located for visiting friends and family in Bury, Blackburn, Clitheroe and surrounding areas. The reception on arrival has always been friendly and polite and the room clean and tidy. The only downside is the noise from the sink taps - probably from high pressure system, but if the neighbour decides to run water for some time - it could become annoying.

Great experience from the time we checked-in and checked-out. Room on the top floor had great views and the breakfast was perfect. Second visit here and we will be back.

The best area to stay in Summerseat is generally within the village centre itself, particularly around the main street, which offers convenience and a pleasant setting.
This central area of Summerseat is quite compact, with the main street, designated the A56, running through it. You'll find a selection of local shops, traditional pubs, and eateries dotted along this road and its immediate side streets. The East Lancashire Railway station is also centrally located, making it easy to explore further afield. The River Irwell flows nearby, providing some lovely spots for a stroll.
For couples looking for a relaxing getaway, staying near the village centre is ideal. You'll be within easy walking distance of quality restaurants and cosy pubs, great for an evening out. The proximity to the railway also means you can enjoy scenic train journeys without needing a car.
Travellers who appreciate the outdoors will also find the village centre appealing. There are several walking paths accessible directly from the heart of Summerseat, leading to the surrounding countryside and along the river.
