The hotel it self was fine the view from the rooms at the rear of the property were excellent.Room 4 we were given on arrival was ok it was the bed that it down it was very worn and saggy,we complained and were upgraded upstairs to room 20 a recently refurbished room very well appointed but the noise from next door this couple could talk for England in fact they spent most of the night talking and to cap it all their T.V. went on at 6,30am i went down to reception to complain then the volume was lowered,these thoughtless people never lowered their voices,if there had been better insulation between rooms then perhaps it woul'nt have been so much of a problem i reckon the walls were paper thin,so if you get put next to noisy neighbours and want a good nights sleep you were your ear plugs.

be warned
Reasonable hotel but I after checking in I was sent to the wrong floor....this was more inconvenient than normal as I am recovering from a broken hip and dependent on crutches to get around. We were attending a local wedding and, between us hired 4 rooms. All of us were cold during the night. Heating was not turned on and there was no other form of heating ( or air con) in the room neither were there any blankets or extra blankets in the room. One of our party rang in the morning to request the heating was put on, the receptionist agreed to put it on, put it took an hour, until around 9.30, until it warmed up. We had to check out shortly afterwards. When I mentioned how cold I had been and made a friendly suggestion to put spare blankets or an eiderdown in the wardrobe, I was told I should have phoned the night porter. I did not do this because of my disability and the difficulty in getting out of bed safely to get to the door. I have since discussed with my fellow guests in my party. ..they were all cold but none of them contacted the night porter. Also reported problems with the TVs - one room did not have a remote control, the other needed re-tuning. Again told we should have reported it. Overall Very disappointed, I thought these were basic issues that would not have arisen had very basic checks been done correctly. If you are thinking of staying here be prepared that your comfort and warmth and not top of this hotels priorities, be prepared to check everything

l was told the day before my stay my room would be ready early and l could leave my luggage in the etas l was going to town to a family wedding. The man on reception said he had no knowledge of this and no one should have authorised for me to get an early room He eventually gave me another room. The walls in the room must be paper thin and next door came in noisy and late and were up most of the night talking and shouting At breakfast the waitress said she had no knowledge that we had already paid for breakfast and l had to go back to the room to get the paperwork that proved we had.A disappointing stay
