A Visit to Neckarpark, Stuttgart

Neckarpark is one of the most attractive event destinations in Europe. With its Porsche-, Mercedes-Benz- and Daimler-branded attractions, it is a mecca for motoring fans, as well as being home to the Bundesliga football club VfB Stuttgart. Neckarpark enjoys music concerts and many cultural events, and is ideally situated just to the east of Stuttgart’s city centre. The Wilhelma Zoo and Botanical Gardens are a short hop across the river, and a number of pleasant parks, including Bad Cannstatt’s Kurpark, the Rosensteinpark and the central Schlossgarten, are all within an easy stroll of the Stuttgart’s Neckar Park. For an entertaining couple of hours, stop by the Schweine Museum, which pays homage to all things pig, and is great for lunch.

Visiting Stuttgart City Centre

A couple of miles from Neckar Park is Stuttgart’s city centre. Capital of the Baden-Württemberg region in southwest Germany and seat of centuries of German dukes, Stuttgart is not short of museums and striking big-city architecture and vast squares that invite you to sit back and people watch on a break between shopping and touring the museums.
