"This hotel was nice and clean. It's a bit dated and needs a revamp in some rooms and main area. We used it as a family. It was busy with coach trips. We like being able to sit in the bar area with the kids, they played pool and there are some games available to play (bring your own dice) that was a nice evening. Apparently there was a ceilidh on the Saturday night but we didn't know about it, it's a good little spot downstairs for socialising. "

"We stayed in a double room with view. A lovely large room with a gorgeous view of the front lawn. The bedroom and en suite bathroom were gorgeous with both rooms having chandeliers. The shower was great re water pressure (like a massage) and lots of other luxurious aspects in bathroom. We had dinner at the hotel and the food was divine - a great menu and each choice did not disappoint. We made good use of the lounge bar and staff were very chatty and helpful. was very enjoyable and a nice touch - Ann came round to check everything was ok with us, and got in touch beforehand to confirm bed arrangements. - May need a deep clean at some point especially with the insects in the summer with windows open but generally in good condition - clean sheets and towels, bathrooms clean and maintained well"
