"This hotel is just perfect if you want a quality, understated, comfortable and quite break. Lovely grounds, staff get the balance of being friendly but not intrusive just right.
Dogs
are made welcome everywhere except the main dining room. Service top notch (nice to go somewhere these days where there are enough staff). Rooms are comfortable and crisp white sheets and the most comfortable beds made me feel like I was floating on a cloud! We had dinner in the dining room each night and...

Achilty Guest House

4.0 star property
7.8 out of 10, Good, (22)
"Clean, comfortable, simple room and ensuite showeroom/toilet. We had a table and two chairs by the window which was lovely so we could eat some meals there. Good service and lovely kind gentleman running the place who was very helpful. Good value. Only problem we had was being woken by the neighbours
dogs
loudly barking before 7am, which went on a long time, but not every day and of course is not the guest house owners fault at all. There is a busy road outside, but we had a room at the...

Otter Lodge

3.5 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (3)
"We loved this little cottage out in the Sticks or as we say "The Twillies". It was comfortable and cute. Make sure you know there is no wifi within the cabin. It is a good ways outside of Inverness but close to the Rogie fall and the Singleton (Muir of Ord) distillery. Super fun and quiet! Bigfoot did not find us here! Beautiful scenery around the cabin."

Juniper Hill, Loch Achilty

4.0 star property

"- Spacious and comfortable - Location was secluded and exactly what we were looking for - Hot tub was very enjoyable and a nice touch - Ann came round to check everything was ok with us, and got in touch beforehand to confirm bed arrangements. - May need a deep clean at some point especially with the insects in the summer with windows open but generally in good condition - clean sheets and towels, bathrooms clean and maintained well"
