This hotel is a shining example to others. Everything is super. The service is excellent, staff lovely, food excellent. Ambiance is relaxing. Location not bad either! Country house hotel at its best, without any of the stuffiness. As as solo traveller I felt very comfortable. I will make a point of returning. No complaints whatsoever.

Our stay was excellent. Staff being very helpful, bed comfortable, clean room & shower with bath also.

Can highly recommend this guest house. Superb views from the en-suite room and breakfast room, comfy bed, clean and the host is excellent. Breakfast is cooked to order and fresh and all diets are catered for. There is plenty of parking on-site, places to eat in the local village and places within a short drive. Easy access to the coast road.

The view over the water is simply stunning, the house sits at the end of a lovely woodland drive with all the charm of a 400 year old house

What a lovely welcome, we arrived early but we’re allowed to leave the car while we walked down to town. The whole place was spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable, the breakfast was amazing, great choice of both hot and cold. We would highly recommend

Tom and Donna were incredible hosts! The place was so clean and the rooms had beautiful accents. The bed was extremely comfortable and the neighborhood was very quiet, yet in walking distance from everything. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Inverness.

Strålande läge med gångavstånd till citykärnan. Väldigt vackert hus, trevlig ägarinna, vackert och bekvämt rum, skön säng, svalt på natten, tyst. Lite dåligt tryck i duschen och skulle vinna på att kanske ha ett litet bord vid fåtöljerna i rummet. Bra frukost och parkering utanför huset.

Amazing self contained place immaculate inside and out fantastic little place

I’ve never stayed in such a perfect place before. The property and the room were absolutely splendid. even more beautiful than in the photos. The scenery around the place is stunning, with lochs and mountains all around. The bedding was very comfortable, and the room was beautifully decorated with great style. The hotel is situated 10 min drive from Inverness airport. The driveway and grounds leading to the hotel are quite magnificent and the staff are so friendly that after just one day it felt like we were staying with family. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Whatever negative comments you've read on here IGNORE!!!! Yea the rooms are a little tired but the place is a castle not a 5* hotel! The room is equipped with everything you need, iron, TV, bath/shower, comfortable clean beds and wifi. If you want much more than that then stay in one of the generic chain hotels. The staff are fantastic, I was shown to my room which was great and even offered assistance with my 1 bag! The food is great, home cooked with generous sizes and very reasonable...

This property was very nice. It was fully stocked and very clean! I would recommend anyone to stay here. It is also in a very good location.
