"Clean, comfy room, balcony overlooking the lake, close to downtown-within a few minutes of walking. A light breakfast … ham, cheese, mini croissants, coffee/tea, cereal, yogurt. If you cannot do stairs, request a main floor room. There are no elevators. Beautiful hotel."

"We were pleasantly surprised to come back from Mackinac Island and find that they had made our beds and cleaned the room. Many hotels don’t do that daily anymore. We enjoyed building a fire in one of the fire pits out on the beach. Funding a hotel for it ha family suite was fantastic! Also, watching the sun rise from my balcony while enjoying a cup of coffee was wonderful."
