We arrived and they were experiencing a partial power outage and they were super helpful for the older people checking in to get them into a first level room - we were fortunate to have power in our room. The room was updated and clean and the lakeside balcony was amazing for morning sunrise! Perfect location to all things downtown Mackinaw!

The lake view was beautiful, staff was friendly & helpful, & the hotel was stocked with brochures & informational booklets on things to see & do in the area which was fantastic. The only complaint we had was the amount of bugs we found on & in the bed & the poorly washed sheets. There were several dark & yellow stains found when we pulled back the covers & multiple dead bugs on & in the bedding.

We enjoyed our stay here. We got a balcony room overlooking the beach and lake. The balcony's have privacy partitions between them with a lovely view of the water. There are fire pits on the beach surrounded by Adirondack chairs, beach chairs for sunbathing, and a picnic table. The rooms were nice and included a min-refrigerator. The beds were comfortable. The property was clean and well kept. I would definitely consider a second visit.

Great for families with kids. Right on the water. Waterpark inside the facility. The front desk can get ferry tickets and shuttle to Mackinac Island. A little dated but clean spacious rooms. Excellent location.

We liked the beach, it is the best in Mackinaw City. The staff is very friendly. It kind of stinks that they do not have breakfast though.

The staff was amazing, especially the manager! The room worked well for our needs. The kids loved the waterpark, however the hot tub was a little too hot. The shuttle to the ferry was a huge perk! Also the ability to buy ferry tickets at the hotel was very helpful.

The room was clean enough, the bed comfortable, the staff helpful enough…just adequate. The hotel decor was very tired and outdated. When reserving there was an indoor water park feature with “free passes included”. This area included a pool that was 100% closed for repair or renovation. Anyone traveling with kids they expected to entertain was likely very disappointed. There was free coffee and hot water for tea station set up in the lobby. That was the only perk. Very mediocre for the price.

Not clean or maintained. Smelled like stale old food all through out the hotel. The bathroom was very dirty and unkept, there was duct tape holding on the light switch plate. Should note that the hotel only has the "kids" pool open during the summer even though its indoors. The only good thing is location. Would never stay here again.
