"My daughter and I enjoyed staying there. Both the staff and management were welcoming and helpful. We loved that the location of the hotel was very close to down town and Starbucks!! If we could have changed one thing about this property it would be the very outdated caperting. This is an older hotel, and even though there has been updating on the hotel, the carpeting has not been one of them. I feel I do need to add that there is an underlined musty smell to those who are sensitive to mold."

"The hotel was very clean and location was great. You can walk or take the shuttle to the pier if you want to do Mackinac Island. You can walk to the strip to eat or shop. The staff (especially Jamie and Carol) were awesome recommending things to see and places to eat. It was so nice we added a couple days on to see a few other things"

"Front desk staff was terrific. Breakfast was great. Bathroom was cramped. You had to fully enter the bathroom before you could close the door. The toilet was next to the door. There were no hooks to hang a towel or clothes in the bathroom. The sink was not in the same area. Room was large, but located in a strange area of the hotel and was next to the road."

"We had a beautiful view of Lake Michigan! The sunrise was gorgeous! The room was nice and cozy with pine walls! The only downside was we could hear other guests talking from other rooms. They should have made it more soundproof."
