"Clift Hill is a fabulous place to stay. We were a group of 20 friends and family and we loved the house. It's extremely clean, well equipped and comfortable. It has impressive rooms and views but it also feels very homely. The kids (aged between 4 and 11) had a brilliant time exploring the house and gardens, playing with the games and outdoor play equipment and taking over the hot tub."

"absolutely amazing place, we do travel a lot and normally don't do reviews but this time... probably the best place we ever stayed in... really well equipt and situated on edge of very small village (no shops, no street lights, very friendly locals), just perfect if you want to switch off and take break from stress, this place is for you... perfect location for hikers, cyclists and dogs... we loved every minute spent there... even checked availability to stay week longer but my partner couldn't...

"The property was amazing and owners very flexible around arrival time and departure. Couldn’t fault it and would definitely choose to stay again. However very confusing that received 2 invoices - 1 from Homeaway and another from Crabtree and Crabtree. Confusing as to what was being paid for what. Slight problem with accidental damage to a door, money taken from my card within 2 days of departure and I was told C and C would negotiate with owners even though I informed the owner myself on...

"Had a lovely stay here with the entire family after Christmas. An amazing property with ample space for both kids and adults to relax. Lovely addition of a swing set and slide on the grounds for the little ones to enjoy and stunning views of the rollling countryside. The only thing that would have made the trip better is an earlier check in time. I personally find 4pm a little late, particularly in winter as it was pitch black by the time we arrived. "Located in a lovely quiet neighbourhood with well cared for lawns. Parking was a little tricky to find as the driveway next to the residence is off limits. Plenty of room for 3 people inside. It was inconvenient to learn there were no kitchen supplies (salt, pepper, cooking oil) as we’d booked it with the intention of using the kitchen right away. Easily righted with a trip to the store."
