Small but neat hotel in the centre of Peterhof, very convenient if you want to visit the parks but don't want to drive to and from the same day. The rooms are quite spacious and generally well furnished. All the typical amenities are there, even a bathtub. Bathrobe and slippers are provided for visiting the sauna — unfortunately this is only possible during set hours (up until 18.00) and henceforth is only possible by paying.
This particular point was extremely annoying, actually. The goal typically would be to go out for walks and visit the spa in the evening. Not possible... unless you want to pay. I think this is a major failing of this hotel and shows a lack of understanding of what people want.
Breakfast was okay at best. The pool room was a nice thing to have in the hotel, pity they didn't go all the way to set it up like a library — the wallpaper was rather distracting. A little style could go a long way there.
Parking is paid but there's plenty of streets right next to the hotel where you can park for free. We didn't try the hotel's restaurant since there are good venues available nearby.
