Liked the mood lights around the headrest. Also it was conveniently close to the airport for an early flight.
everything is very good Service, location, reception and bar staff one little thing - they don’t have adequate clleaning crew. they do a good job but they can get to you room after 3 or 4 pm
Clean, reasonable breakfast and very friendly staff.
This hotel is on the 10th floor, so a bit confusing at first. But the hotel staff was very friendly and the room was very clean. I would recommend this to other patrons trying to find a good place near the airport.
We staid in a compact apartment, it was very clean with decent views. Bus to the airport is 5min away. Managers didn't inform us of their exact location and it's not easy to locate their office, it took us almost half an hour. We were given an address but there were several buildings with the same ...
The walls are very thin. I had the experience of being on a floor with a gang of men doing whatever they wanted, running amok doing everything you would dread, there was horrendous banging from all angles, probably other guest from down below. The main thing being there was no security and no one ...
It has no lift.but very friendly staff.good value for money.
The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel itself has a bad smell when the air conditioner was turned on, but it would get too hot if it stayed off during the night. No housekeeping service either.
Pulkovo Airport is St. Petersburg’s busiest airport and only 23 kilometres from the city centre. It’s the main hub of Rossiya Airlines and is well-served by many international and domestic flights. Since the opening of its airy four-storey terminal in 2014, which replaced two much older terminals, around 18 million passengers pass through the airport annually.
Pulkovo Airport, designed by British company Grimshaw Architects, is open around the clock and offers many dining facilities, including fast-food chains and coffee shops. Travellers could pass their time perusing the designer names in the duty free shops include Burberry and Armani, or pay a small fee and relax in the business lounge with complimentary drinks and snacks.
The airport is very family friendly and two play areas help to keep children entertained before a flight. There is also a mother and child room on the second floor, which is open daily, and offers families use of a kitchen, bedroom and play area.
It’s only a 30-minute drive into St. Petersburg and the K39 shuttle service leaves the airport every five minutes, taking travellers directly into St. Petersburg centre. City buses connect the airport to the central Moskovskaya Metro Station, departing every 12-30 minutes. All buses and shuttle services pick travellers up from outside the arrivals hall, making transfers easy on arrival.
As well as car hire companies, there are also a number of taxi counters in the arrivals hall. It’s safer to arrange a taxi from one of these authorised firms than to pick one up from the ranks outside. Fares are at a fixed rate and will cost between 600-900 rubles, depending on the exact distance of your journey.
Most of the four-star hotels close to Pulkovo Airport are international chains catering to a business crowd. There is also a good selection of independent two- and three-star hotels that offer comfortable accommodation at reasonable rates. The efficient public-transport links into the centre of St. Petersburg places the city’s many central places to stay within easy reach of the airport.
