"Surprisingly good stay. I was there for a business meeting the following day and, based on some of the reviews, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very nice, modern and extremely comfortable, with decent air conditioning and fast, reliable WiFi. I may have been upgraded due to my status, but either way the room was excellent. I didn’t eat in the restaurant, so I can’t comment on the food, but overall I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay and would happily stay again."

"Arrived early so wanted to drop bag off. We were in the queue but seemingly ignored by staff at check in who proceeded to deal with other people who weren't in the queue. We pointed out that we were waiting and they the apologised but was a bit off putting. When we checked in the room was big and we had a large bed. Clean but a bit tired. Just a few minutes walk to city centre. Hairdryer was broken so handed it in when we checked out. Overall and ok stay"

"The accommodations were very good. We had a big 45 minute problem finding parking at the beginning of our stay. It would have been helpful if someone had informed us by email that the name/owner of the parking garage had changed! A phone call to IHC didn’t help as the woman was uninformed about the parking situation…not her fault!! That, along with the fact that there was a huge “pedestrian only” area surrounding the hotel and the fact that we were driving on a different side of the road made this experience particularly stressful! When we did finally find the hotel your front desk personnel were very kind and helpful. The room was clean and quite large. The bathroom was particularly nice. The breakfast was good. But the first hour of contact was very stressful and unprofessional of your organization."

"The hotel is a short walk from the train station & the local bus station it's a 5 to 10 minutes walk into Cardiff centre, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and has comfortable beds, the breckfast as a good choice of English cooked and continental."

"Me and my partner stayed for his birthday and had a nice time,, but I’d be weary if you have additional needs. When we went to eat in the bar for dinner there was a live band playing. I have multiple disabilities that affect my sensory processing (autism, adhd and dcd) and I was unable to go in the restaurant or bar with my ear defenders because of the noise. My partner even said he found it too loud - you could hear it in the corridors! This was only one day but the staff let me know it’s every Wednesday and Friday so that is something to keep in mind when booking if you struggle. We ordered room service instead which was handy but the £8 fee for delivery was frustrating because I’m not able to help being sensitive to noise and I couldn’t find any information online and I feel it is helpful to let customers know before hand. We also had multiple questionable stains on the sides of the chairs and one lightbulb was hanging out of the light fixture above the bed, we notified reception and was told someone would be sent down shortly due to it being a safety hazard, but no one came. This left me on edge for the whole two days as I was expecting someone to arrive any minute. The amenities were lovely and we had a good time overall and would stay again,, just not on a Wednesday or Friday."
