The apartment was right in St Helier, just above the bus station, which although you could hear the buses, didn't bother us at all as everything went quieter in the evening. Everything was spotless, the bed was nice and comfy, and the living room was a good size with a view of the harbour. The kitchen was a reasonable size, with everything in it that you would need. The bathroom was nice although as the shower was over the bath it was a little narrow, but nice and powerful. Staff were helpful and polite, and if you got up early enough had free scones and croissants in reception for you to have. Very happy, and had a wonderful stay.

I do not know how this has received a 4* rating. The double room was very small. You could not easily walk around the end of the bed without hitting the wall mounted TV, there was no bedside cabinet on one side of the bed and no lighting controls, or bedsit light. It appeared to have been designed for a single bed with all controls on one side of the bed. The was a very small desk and only one chair.
The bathroom was clean, but the wood around the sink was warped and raised - I am not sure how hygienic.
Check-in was very slow, and not welcoming. At check out the only concern was whether we had used the mini bar and there was no interest in whether we had enjoyed our stay. It was all very impersonal.
We had a lengthy wait for breakfast on our first day. No communication, we were just left in the doorway, waiting to be seated. When someone did eventually come across there was not even a token "sorry for the delay". The second morning the staff were more friendly and we were shown to a table quickly and efficiently.
I am glad that we were only staying for 2 nights.
