Marlin Waterloo
10/10 Excellent
"Great location for visiting London! Very walkable to Westminster and close to the London Eye. Several pubs, restaurants, and shops nearby. Surprisingly quiet on the upper floors despite being right next to the train tracks. Check in/out was incredibly quick and easy using the electronic kiosk and the staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean with central AC and it was nice to have double beds and a fold out chair to accommodate separate beds for 3 people. Kitchenette was a great plus! Space was a little small but understandable given the area. Bathroom was clean, but the shower didn’t have a door and it was easy for water to overflow and spill on the floor. Overall, it was an excellent stay and worth it for the money spent."

"The breakfast menu was great and the dinner that we had one night was awesome, food was phenomenal. The staff through the hotel were lovely and friendly and always happy to help when you needed anything. The stay was amazing and my mum and I had a wonderful time there. Thank you all so much. "

"My room was not cleaned, bed sheets dirty. They literally put me in the basement that looked like a dungeon, no windows"

"I will be kind and start with the pros. The room was quiet and very dark. We slept well. It’s one of the quietest hotels I’ve ever been in. It was a great contrast from the city. The cons. 15 euros to hold each bag if you arrive early. We requested an early check in for 40 euros, but we waited a half an hour before they told us they didn’t have a room for us. And we still had to pay the bag drop off fee to finally leave and see the city. Poor service. Dirty carpet in the hallways but the room was clean. Very minimalistic, which is nice to the eye, but inconvenient for traveling. Not even a towel to use as a bath mat. One hand towel and two bath towels for our two person room. No tissue. No shelf to sit anything on. No extra room. No phone to call down to the front desks. No front desk. If you’re okay with absolutely NO bells and whistles and you just want a quiet room to lay your head you can make this work. If you want a dry towel to land your feet on so you don’t flood the bathroom, look somewhere else."
