Near Spanish steps and shops-- great location out of the crowds -- clean but some things not working well, room tight but attractive. Can get wine and coffee at hotel or also dinner and gelato at several places on same street. No major negatives-- great place since not planning to hang around in room when in Roma!!
We found the staff helpful and both the room and communal areas very clean. The bed linen was changed daily, with clean towels provided twice daily if they had been used. The bed was turned down each evening, slippers placed beside the bed. Nice toiletries provided. Full size normal hair dryer provided. The breakfast was excellent in a relaxed environment. Very accommodating on the last day with facilities available for late flights after check out. We would definitely return to this hotel.
"Fabulous location right at the bottom of The Spani"
Fabulous location right at the bottom of The Spanish Steps, yet quiet. A total of 5 adjacent buildings. Great staff. Wonderful rooftop terrace for buffet breakfast and evening drinks and snacks. Make sure to try the hotel's restaurant recommendations as they were wonderful. The pre-arranged airport car service pick up and drop off are also well worth it- have to pay cash to hotel so have Euros. Would definitely stay here again!
From the minute we walked through the door we were very well looked after. The staff were all very friendly, and happy to help with all our queries. A great breakfast selection meant we started each day with full stomachs - much needed before a day of trekking around Rome! The room was compact, but had everything we needed. A great all round experience, wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
My husband and I were celebrating our 20th Anniversary and wanted something really special in Rome, and the First Luxury Art Hotel was the perfect place. Right from the first welcome of the doorman, the prosecco during checkin, to the gorgeous and spacious room, our stay was excellent. Staff bend over backwards to help you with anything....organize tours, make dining recommendations and reservations, airport transfers/taxis etc.
The location is excellent for walking to many attractions, cafes, restaurants and shopping.
I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again!
We stayed four nights, 9/22-26/2015. The hotel is located just across the Piazza dei Popolo from the Flaminio Metro station; very convenient for getting around Rome, yet still within walking distance to many sights and neighborhoods. Very friendly and accommodating staff led by Patrizia and Giuseppe. Our room was a bit on the small side, but the complimentary beverages more than made up for that. Besides, who goes to Rome to sit in a hotel room?
The breakfast that was served in a little restuarant across the street was very good. Nice assortment of pastries along with eggs and bacon. Nice pizzaria just down at the end of the block.
A trip to Rome is incomplete without tossing a coin in the waters of the iconic Trevi
Fountain. Immortalised in classic movie ‘La Dolce Vita’, the fountain is one of the
Italian capital’s most famous landmarks.
Staying in the neighbourhood, there is an abundance of great hotels around the Trevi
Fountain area. Set in the historic centre of Rome, hotels here provide the perfect
base for exploring the city’s sights.
Rome’s hotels come in various shapes and sizes to suit an array of tastes and
budgets. You’ll find exquisite five star hotels offering a taste of the good life in
keeping with the area’s famed film. This charming area has some very good three and four star hotels housed in
stunning historical buildings offering all modern conveniences such as flat screen
televisions, Wi-Fi and iPod stations.
Embracing the past? You’ll find delightful historical hotels in the Trevi Fountain area
within walking distance of the fountain and the famous Forum. In the
neighbourhood’s quieter streets there are some lovely smaller hotels and B&Bs
offering friendly old-fashioned hospitality
