"A lovely stay in a cute old stable. Lovely provision of cereal, bread, butter, milk and coffee (including some for the cafetière for those like me who don’t drink instant). The fridge has a small freezer at the top which is great. The living room is double height and very comfy with underfloor heating, the bedroom is upstairs on the mezzanine. The owners have really thought about the things you need when staying away in self-catered accommodation and it shows! 10/10"

"Very helpful and friendly owners, great location for visiting our new granddaughter. 2 mins walk to lovely Pearsons park. Some lovely welcoming items, lots of fresh fruit, bread, butter, milk and cake all vegan as owners are, a couple of things i would suggest is maybe a door curtain could be put in place as there was no privacy going from the bathroom across the kitchen to the bedroom also there was no smoke alarm present. All in all a nice stay 👍 "

"This was a lovely cottage for our Christmas break, perfect for 2 adults and a dog. Maintained to a high standard and catered for all our needs. We'd like to return in Spring/Summer to further explore the area. Owners were very helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome. "From booking to checking out this place has been fabulous. Just what we wanted and found everything to be as advertised. We were warmly welcomed by Lynne when we arrived who showed us into the property which was spotless. We walked into a warm and cosy Christmas cottage with a welcome pack that included everything we would need, essentials but then so much more, it has been really well thought out. "What a fantastic property and lovely location, we booked The Cart Shed as a base for visiting York, the amazing Aquarium in Hull and the nearby town of Beverley which is such a lovely town with all the shops and eateries you would want. Staying here would also be a relaxing and peaceful place for a break. The Cart Shed has everything you need, just pack your clothes and enjoy the experience. Will definitely be returning!"

"This holiday home is the most perfect myself and partner have booked. The decor is absolutely amazing and a lot of thought had been put into it by the owners. It is impossible to pick any faults. The home was clean and high standard and quality of equipment and furnishings. Studying the ‘quirky’ decor was an enjoyable time spent. Simon and Lynne were so friendly without being intrusive. The advert does not do this place justice, it was above and beyond our expectations and we shall be back "
