"There's a shabby tackiness about the place, which I actually found charming. Check-in was difficult, mostly due to the weather, but once I got into my room everything was fine. I put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door and wasn't disturbed the whole five days. I don't require a lot of maintenance. I seldom make my bed at home and didn't feel a need to have it made here. I put all my recyclables in plastic bags and left a box of baking soda in the bathroom. I use it to brush my teeth and to drink when I get heartburn. I like that it's across the street from the Lyceum Theater and there's a nice deli that sells sliced fruit, which I bought several times. All in all, I really enjoyed being there."

We chose the hotel because I’ve stayed there before and I loved it and the location is so convenient, BUT this time around, it was even better. The staff was nothing less than amazing. "The double tree south was a great location really close to time square and all the theaters. The room was a bit small but that was a non factor as we didn’t spend a lot of time there just to sleep. The beds were really comfortable and the shower was really hot after a long day. "
