"We just spent a wonderful week fishing off the dock and enjoying the local tulip festival, this cabin was exactly what we were hoping for. Upon arrival it was clean and well stocked, it is a spacious cabin that instantly felt like home with wonderful art on the walls and a truly sublime tiled shower. The deck was amazing, fitted with a hot tube for relaxing and a dock for fishing. We really could not have asked for a better cabin or hosts, we truly enjoyed our stay."

"Very cute a-frame in pleasant neighborhood, home is totally private as it is surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs. Home is very clean and well organized, lots of amenities and I loved that there was no tv though the boys grumbled a little at first (they ended the trip saying it was nice to not have the tv)! Super quick drive to Maxwelton beach. Host is very attentive and kind. Would highly recommend this property if you’re staying on Whidby!"

"Special and rare because it has everything we were looking for in a great setting. Excellent craftsmanship in the construction and perfect attention to detail. No need to look for instructions on where things are or how to operate anything and meticulous attention to cleanliness and maintenance. No noise or distractions, couldn't think of anything lacking."

"We haf a very wonderful and relaxing stay. The only upgrade i can mention. Is the bed is dated and should be upgraded to a pillowtop with no springs. It was uncomfortable and felt old and used. Other than that this is an amazing place and we look forward to seeing it again."

"Our stay was amazingly peaceful and for our family to join at a mutual location it was ideal - beautiful walks on the beach and the overall charm of the place made for a perfect Christmas--very spacious, beds perfect and the home had all the cooking utensils, gadgets, platters etc to accommodate our meals. "If you're looking for the perfect place to relax and get some perspective on life, this is it. If you're fussy about every little detail, maybe this isn't. The awesome view, the privacy, the sauna, comfortable beds, great wood burning fireplace, all the important things are here. It's very rural, so as you might expect, the decks were covered in leaves, pine cones, broken branches, plus quite a few cobwebs throughout the house, things we read other renters complain about but don't bother us....

We had thought it would be a little closer to the beach but the walk really wasn’t too bad. The road noise was a bit irritating when you hanging out outside but didn’t affect our sleep. "This is a truly stunning home on a lovely lake. Beautifully decorated and super clean. It sits high up on a hill overlooking the lake through the trees. It's mostly very quiet as only electric motors are allowed on the lake. However there are many houses around the lake and a public access, and voices do travel. That said, I am super noise sensitive and I didn't have any problems with the noise levels. A huge plus is the property management company. They are very communicative and clearly take...
