I was expecting a nice house, based on the photos, but was more impressed when we arrived because of how much care had obviously been put into renovating this charming old house with modern fixtures and cabinets, and the love that the owners put into making the house a great place to stay. "The ranger house is spacious with big kitchen, deck & living room, 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. The deck is badly in need of refurbishing. There are sleeping cabins in the park so extra family members can join you. The path to the lake is hilly and the approach to the pier needs work. The kitchen did not have a toaster which was a real disappointment and we were unsuccessful trying to reach the host. There are a lot of pluses for this rental and we will probably use it again. "Great clean place. Floors are a bit wobbly in places but it's an old house. A few transitions (may wanna mark them) cause the old folks to trip and stumble. Two bedrooms upstairs. Only bathroom is on first floor. Very well stocked kitchen. Did I say it's clean? super clean and comfy! Awesome stay (I'm nit picking above)."

"It is a quiet location on the lake. Nice yard. Neighbors are kind and will leave you alone or talk to you....your choice. Home is clean and comfortable. LOVE the deck! We were able to enjoy the birds early in the morning with our coffee. This is a place to relax."
