Nicer if we could get in and out of the lot
Nice property and spacious. We received a call the day prior to check in stating the parking might not be plowed all the time , but it would get plowed (we came in a winter storm). Well, we came and there were drifts and no passage to get into the house-thank God we brought a shovel. We called the park manager and he said he would do his best to get it plowed overnight. That didn't happen and even with a 4 wheel drive truck, we got stuck several times the next morning. Finally, later morning we got plowed out. We traveled 8 hours and had a timed event in the morning which I told them about that we came for, so it not being plowed led to much extra stress and work on our part. Unable to get a hold of anyone else. Made the best of the weekend, but that added stress where we should not have had!

This house was, especially the location, was very unique as it is located inside park grounds. The house was very clean upon arrival, and the amenities were great. But what was so helpful for us, was the handicap accessibility. We have a completely wheelchair bound disabled son, and this house actually had a ramp to get in. So extremely helpful. The ONLY thing that was a problem was that the television did not work because the ROKU device was broken. We thought perhaps it was a battery problem, we bought new batteries, but it still did not work. So...we were rendered to watching tv on our tiny phone screens, which was difficult for my son. But other than that, I would totally recommend this property. It was our very first time ever using a VRBO property over a hotel, as I was alway nervous about how handicap accessible a rental house would be. This was SO much more relaxing and spacious for us than being in a hotel room. The property manager was very helpful to answer our questions prior to coming, also.

Weekend wedding
3 Generations arrived for a 3 day weekend wedding nearby. We loved having the house and Erler Lake to retreat to in between wedding events. It was perfect for us with games and puzzles for the kids, an easy walk to the lake for a swim or playtime and the window air conditioners were a plus as the temperatures rose. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Wedding weekend
This property was perfect for our needs. My daughter's wedding was at a church in West Bend with reception at Foundry 45 in Kewauskum. We had rehearsal night open house out here Friday night. At the most people we slept 9 comfortably in the house. Downstairs open floor plan kept all of us engaged. Downstairs bedroom and bath are handicap accessible. You can tell its an older house in process of refurburshing. Stairs to second floor as well as upstairs hall are narrow. Plenty of parking was an added bebfit. There is no direct lake access from house. The pictures of beach, park shelter, docks, are all park pictures, a short walk down the hill from house. Guests that did go down the hill said park is very nice, good beach and clear water. Yes, we would rent this property again!

Disappointed
We've stayed at this property multiple times over the last few years and have always enjoyed our time. However, we found the property to be run down and dirty compared to previous stays. It appeared the counters had not been wiped down or the floor swept between occupants and the door handle to the fridge was filthy. Handles on the fridge and the dryer were broken and poorly taped back together and the washer did not fill properly. Considering the nightly cost of the house, the check out list of things occupants need to do before leaving, and the cleaning fee, the property should have looked far better than it did.
