The rental house is located just 150' from the Main Hall & Chapel, which often holds large events and weddings throughout the year (weddings often go until 11:00 pm - 12:00 pm on Saturday evenings and can be heard from the house). The house has 4 bedrooms and can sleep up to 12 people, a great place to stay for groups attending events at the park. There are 1.5 bathrooms, a laundry room, full kitchen, living room, and a private deck and backyard. The deck is badly in need of refurbishing. There are sleeping cabins in the park so extra family members can join you. The path to the lake is hilly and the approach to the pier needs work. The kitchen did not have a toaster which was a real disappointment and we were unsuccessful trying to reach the host. There are a lot of pluses for this rental and we will probably use it again. The communication was excellent. The beds are very comfortable. There was a lot of room for the 5 of us. We spent a lot of time outside. We brought our own drinking water bc there was a sulfur smell coming from the faucet. With that said, none of those things are a deal breaker; just something to be aware of.
