"Very spotless when we wanted milk and sugar we had it straight away from the reception security outside was very good breakfast was excellent breakfast we’ve had in a hotel for years and the room was lovely spotless and what a view we had from our Window we will be coming back"

"Lovely city hotel, excellent large rooms with super comfortable beds. Scrupulously clean, nice classic styling. Great value breakfast and really helpful staff. Coffee machine would be the icing on the cake! Close to all amenities in Leeds."

"If you want a nice central stay, then this is one to consider. We had a couple of issues, which were resolved on the day. However, getting two bottles of sparkling water into the room seemed like a challenge, and being charged £16 for it felt like a lot, especially since they supplied only one bottle and charged for two, and the hotel already provides small bottles of still water. I was not expecting this to be charged, as I have experienced in other 5-star hotels."

"It is a huge 'Victorian pile' - refurbished lately - it is central, about 5 mins from Betty's tea shop. Breakfast is ok. Other menu a bit ordinary. Staff are good. Didn't try the spa - but it is there if you want it. So, overall OK. Would stay there again."
