"Had a lovely stay here & would definitely stay again as felt very much a home away from home. As soon as you walk in you can see that the photos really didn't do the place justice, we were very impressed. We felt very relaxed there & it had everything we needed including a travel cot & high chair. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!"

"We only stayed one night the downstairs was awful. Smelly settee old kettle and toaster, dirty mat by door. Cooker hob had cracks in every corner. The upstairs, bedroom was fine and bathroom, the outside needed a lot of updating. What a waste of money, we booked through Sykes cottages they obviously do not have regular checks on property at least they certainly did not with this one !!!"

"Really quaint old inn with lots of exposed stone walls & beams. Staff were super friendly & helpful - really warm welcome & nothing was too much trouble. Bed very comfortable & the small double room I had was perfect just for me. Food in the restaurant was delicious & there was a good choice. Breakfast plentiful, well presented & hearty. Will be staying there again on my way to Devon"
