"Lovely hotel, friendly staff and very clean. Breakfast in the morning was cold though, the food was left in chafing dishes (Bain-Maries) to keep warm and everything was cold, we waited 10 mins in case the food was changed and all they did was add some fresh eggs and sausages to what was left."

"Always a fantastic stay at this lovely pub. Manager is so friendly and helpful. We have eaten here the two times we have stayed and the food is also really good, with fantastic service. Rooms are characterful, clean and lovely and quiet for sleeping. Beautiful location in a very pretty village - a wonderful base for exploring this lovely part of Lancashire."
