I was unfamiliar with Sendai and didn't know what else the city had to offer in the way of tourist attractions, but the hotel was conveniently located near a wide variety of those covered shopping street malls. For this trip, that was good enough for me. Decided to get breakfast there too. Good decision. This was the big reason I booked this hotel (knowing that Mitsui Garden has nice public baths). The staff were first class with their smiles and willingness to assist guests at any time. The only thing I would suggest is to turn down the frequency and amount of scent used in the scent machine. It was quite strong for those who are sensitive to scent.
