A little older, but nothing to worry about. VERY CENTRAL--couldn't ask for a better location. Minutes from Sendai station in the centre of maybe the biggest shotengai I've ever seen. Dozens of restaurants & cafes right at the doorstep. Reception is on the second floor--no lift so you have to carry your bags up about a dozen stairs--be aware if you have heavy bags! Good Japanese breakfast with some western options. Friendly, helpful staff.
