I arrived at the hotel around noon. Since check-in wasn't until 3 PM, I left my luggage at the hotel. When I returned at 3 PM to check in, I found my luggage had been tampered with. Upon opening it, I discovered the gift I bought for a friend was damaged. I immediately confronted the hotel staff, but they claimed my luggage had nothing to do with the hotel and even tried to cancel my reservation. Fortunately, I booked through Expedia, so cancellation was impossible. They told me to call the police myself, but I was using a SIM card and couldn't make calls. I asked other customers and shopkeepers to help me call the police, but hotel staff immediately came over, spoke a few words to a few people, and left (it felt like they were being threatened).
