"Was a lovely stay. Stayed overnight while we attended a wedding near by. The staff werw very friendly and professional. Breakfast was delicious and great choice. Would stay again and would recommend."

"Really run down building and don't expect what you see in the photos. A grand mansion it most certainly is not. Shower was so cold I didn't bother. Had to ask them for a double room (which I had paid extra for) and was given a twin. The staff were not exactly eager to address the problem and I ended up in the same room with the beds pushed together. Not good enough."

"I cant believe you have to pay to use the Spa facilties at a Spa Hotel NOT STATED ON HOTELS.COM Also no kettle in room, cracked floor tiles in bathroom (Junior Suite as well) and having work done the work men started at 7:50 REALLY NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL"

"My stay at Marine Troon was outstanding. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make my stay a memorable one. The service was on par with any 5 star hotel I have been to. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was solid. The convenience to several of Scotland's beat golf courses was amazing. I would highly recommend this for anyone wanting to explore this beautiful area."

"Staff were excellent, helpful and polite. Room was clean although soap, was open on sink. In morning turned shower on, drain was blocked, as tray was low rim, water overflowed quickly on bathroom floor, dried with towels into toilet. Went to reception, staff came along quickly and sorted out vacant room to have shower. Breakfast good selection, bacon not very well cooked, otherwise ok. "
