"Absolutely loved our stay on Gerda, such a lovely boat. Great hosts very responsive to communications and providing useful tips. Boat was clean and had everything needed plus extra special little touches. Wish we were staying longer, highly recommend!"

A short but very pleasant stay at the hotel. As I was visiting relatives I didn't use all the hotel facilities but the room was large, quiet and comfortable, albeit a bit dark. Breakfast was excellent as I expected.

I have never stayed at this hotel before and I will 100% be returning. Super clean, fantastic finish and the bed sheets were so soft! Couldn’t fault a single thing. We stayed on a Saturday night (on floor 9) and you could hear a tiny bit of noise from local streets but did not disturb our sleep one bit. All staff were super friendly too. Fab location too. Thank you so much.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Apex Dundee, our room was really comfortable and spacious with a fabulous view across to the Tay Bridge and V&A. We ate in the restaurant and bar and everything was fresh and tasty. Looking forward to coming back!

Having stayed at the Hotel over the years we were aware,this time that the dining arrangements are now so expensive as to make one of the restaurants not somewhere we would wish to eat . The hotel staff were very polite and helpful. Our room was spacious and well furnished. The shower was user friendly but took a little while to run hot. The meals were superb. It would have been a little difficult for an elderly person to have walked into the town and back as the hotel was located up a fairly steep hill, otherwise there there were no drawbacks and it's relative isolation from the town meant it was in a very quiet location. All in all an excellent experience.

Made to feel very welcome right from the start with friendly, helpful staff who were also very professional. Standard of accomodation was excellent. The hotel itself was warm and inviting with an open fire in the hall and the views from the dining room were quite superb. Beautiful grounds which would make the hotel a stunning venue for a wedding. The quality of food and presentation were both excellent. Can't fault anything.

It was absolutely lovely! Very close to Edinburgh Waverley and some lovely restaurants. Calton Hill is right next door as well. The front desk staff was very helpful, and the room was plush and clean. We wish we could stay longer!
