The roads weren't very busy at all, so it was a great place for running. You pass a lot of olive trees, flowers, and you can even see the Mediterranean in the distance. The place is very quiet at night, and it has a gate. I don't think there was much chance at all of anyone trying to break into my car. I used this place as a base to visit various places each day of my stay (Ragusa, Modica, Scicli, Donnalucata, Donnafugata, Marina di Ragusa, etc.). It was easy to just hop in my car and drive off to a new place or two each day. Of course, I had to deal with finding parking and navigating the narrow roads in each location, but at least the parking where I slept at night was super easy.
