"The property is exactly what it is called. Charming. The staff is very nice. The breakfast had everything you need. Be prepared to walk up and down the stairs as there is no elevator. The only issue we had with our room (#10) is that sink in the bathroom was super tiny and could not put any toiletries in the bathroom. Rooms also do not come equipped with a fridge. Otherwise it was a beautiful property. "
"I was initially unsure about the hotel location (in front of the marina, with a casino adjacent to it) based on pictures alone. However, I must say that the hotel was great, location was excellent, it has an amazing rooftop bar and houses one of the best restaurant in the entire island. Truly great. "
"We stayed here for 6 days from Aug 03 - 09 2025. We love staying here. The hotel is clean, quiet, with plenty of parking and the staff is AWESOME! They are always friendly and courteous. Nuno, Maria, Petra and Julia always greeted us with a smile and they helped us a lot. If Fatima is reading this have her give all you guys a huge raise !!
One small suggestion - can your hotel upgrade the televisions in the rooms to be Smart TV's? It would be nice to watch movies and shows on the Internet.
Again - we love staying here. We live in San Diego California and the trip is long. But when we make it back to Ponta Delgada we'll stay with you again. "
"The only issue was with the lack of a wake up call on my first day when I had a morning tour planned. Neither of the two I requested went through. However, I am in a Portuguese speaking country and was not equipped to request a wake-up call in that language. The one staff member was not able to understand me, so I noted the next time I asked for a call, she wrote an hour later down- when I noted it, and wrote the correct time, she had another staff member aid me and we were able to communicate effectively and she addressed my concerns and called the tour company to assure I would be picked up. Breakfast was filling and worth it!"
