About 2 km from the Cathedral - the rooms are nice and large and breakfast fabulous. Easy walking distance to the old city and the cathedral. No need for the pool though...after all, we are there for the cathedral.

We easily walked to the cathedral most days and found nearby restaurants very good. The staff answered all of our questions and were helpful in obtaining taxi's.

Overall an Excellent Hotel
Our stay at the Exe Peregrino was excellent. We arrived late at night and were given a junior suite which was a lovely surprise. Check in staff were helpful as were any other staff that we came across during our stay. Hotel was spotless throughout, beds were comfortable and the pool area was really nice for a city hotel. Breakfast was a great choice and did not disappoint. We did eat one night for dinner at the buffet in the restaurant bit would not recommend the choice was poor, the food was cold and the quality was a 2/10 at most-this would be the only complaint of the hotel but I feel it is worth mentioning. On the day of leaving we were able to keep our room on until 2pm at no extra cost which was very helpful. Location wise it was perfect and was only a short walk to the centre of town and the old town. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would use agin ourselves.

Great hotel for the price point. Staff are fantastic. We only stayed 1 night, it’s close to old town, bus station, city centre and good restaurants. Breakfast was good, bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was also good. No complaints at all

A fab hotel with the largest, comfiest beds ever. Very clean, great choice at breakfast and service was excellent whenever needed. A special mention to Miguel behind the bar whise service was friendly and second to none. Would definitely come back! Our only disappointment was that the pool was not yet open for the season and we hadn't known this. Shame, we'd have loved to lounge by the nice-looking pool.

This place is an excellent hotel, for either short or long stays. It has free parking, a nice pool, and it’s close to the old town and the main train station. The property has modern facilities, is very clean and overall is very comfortable. I highly recommend.

TERRIBLE HOTEL!
The hotel was not as expected. We were promised a refund at the early checkout, but that was a lie. The food was bad. The room was cheap. We were given a room with twin beds for a couples getaway. The elevator wasn’t operating correctly. It was noisy. Nothing was as promised. We checked out after one night. The hotel promised a refund, then robbed us for the additional nights. There are many nice places to stay in San Sebastián. I recommend anywhere else. Fortunately we changed hotels and still had a fabulous weekend.

Very poor quality hotel - service not great either
We weren’t overly impressed with the staff, we were left stranded in a busy area with no taxis in surrounding area at the time. We called the hotel for over 40mins with no one answering the phone. When I went to complain at reception they didn’t seem bothered and just simply said oh well sorry 👎

Good location (within 1km to Old Town)
Stayed there for two nights to visit beautiful old town Santiago de Compostela. We had a room with pool view. Small room (not much room with luggage) with good fridge. Two-twin beds pushed together and very comfortable mattresses. Adequate shower/bath with plenty of pressure and hot water. Parking was available at the hotel (we were lucky because there are not many spaces). Recommend that you reserve a parking space in advance if you plan to drive. Very nice pool but the water is extremely cold (which is very unfortunate). Well located as it is about 1km-walk from old-town. We took the option with the breakfast but were disappointed. Only a continental breakfast with not much choices was served. Although we understand the need to take safety precautions due to COVID-19, many other hotels in Spain retained their buffet options open but with staff serving the food instead once selected by customers (all under strict hygene precautions). As with other hotels where we stayed in Spain, the TV had a function that allowed to change the language to original language on programming not originally in the Spanish language. Unfortunately, we were not able to change the language on the TV because it was blocked and the staff at the reception did not want to assist either, which was disappointing. Overall, still recommended.

High rise hotel close to Santiago de Compostela
Nice hotel on Western outskirts of Santiago de Compostela. Clean, nice size rooms. Great breakfast. There's an outdoor swimming pool next to the breakfast room. It's about 20 minutes walk into Santiago.

The women behind the front desk was very unwelcoming. She gave us a smoking room with a very small bed even though we specifically booked a noon smoking room.she barely spoke English and was kind of nesty. She claimed it was the last room . Later on at night after she left we came downstairs and found a much friendlier women behind the front desk . She immediately transferred us to a much nicer room with a queen size bed . I would suggest that the hotel get rid of the older meaty blond behind the front desk .

Large modern hotel
This is a large modern hotel but it is a good twenty minutes walk from the historic centre. Although well kept some of the fittings are a little tired. The staff were attentive helpful. There was a varied buffet breakfast which was cheaper if you booked the day before.
