This is a modern hotel, I would definitely return to. We recently stayed at this hotel for a long weekend. On arrival we were disappointed that our twin room had not been held for us despite an email to advise we would be a late check in. This was also not helped the following morning by not being able to get into our booked room until 2pm and having to check out of the room we stayed in and the staff's inability to apologise. However, after an email, we were upgraded into a club twin. The facilities in the hotel are clean and modern. Our club twin room was lovely and was significantly bigger than the standard twin. The pool area is good, however there are not enough sun beds for the number of people who are using the area. Also, be advised they sometimes have private events on the rooftop and you will not have access to the pool, this information can be found on their website. I would definitely recommend this hotel, as despite initial issues, it is a fantastic place to stay.
We had a fantastic holiday at the Barcelona Princess, the staff were lovely and our room was cleaned to a very high standard every day. The food was really nice and ordering on room service was really quick. The hotel is close to the shopping centre where you can get anything all day and until late in the evening. The metro is just around the corner and tram outside, along with the bus stop. The beach is just across the road. Fab holiday!
Nice apartment, location excellent for Beach, City Centre (10 mins bus La Rambla) minutes walk from main street Rambla Poblenou for restaurants.
Sea Views are side view and balcony would have made it excellent place to stay
Although would definitely recommend
Great location close to the beach. Close to tourist bus route, not to far from Sants train station, but a long ride to the airport. Nice size grocery store in the "Centre ville" shopping square just up the street. Rooms nice and clean, very nice pool area if you don't feel like going to the beach.
I stayed here for a week with my children aged 10 & 12. The hotel provided an extra bed in a double room and even with this, the room was still spacious. The facilities in the room were excellent (large bathroom with shower & bath; safe; minibar; air-con, room service, etc.) as were the facilities throughout the hotel. The pool on the roof was a great hit with the children and even though it is fairly small it is ideal for cooling off at the end of the day or before starting out in the mornings. The bar was a hit with mum (me) while the kids splashed around and the restaurant was surprisingly good- so much so that we ate there twice. The buffet breakfast was extremely extensive & generous, from sweet pastries to cooked eggs/ bacon/ toast to cold cheeses, meats & fresh fruits & salad and a great selection of fresh fruit juice & decent coffee. The decor is wonderfully quirky and reflects the spirit of modern Barcelona. The staff were extremely helpful, storing our luggage for the day after check-out, calling a taxi to the airport & even mailing our postcards! Having never visited Barcelona before, we found the location ideal, with both tram & metro stops within a few minutes' walk and easy access to the beach only 10 minutes stroll. The room was cleaned thoroughly to a very high standard daily, despite our depositing half of Barcelona beach on the floor & shower! We all agree that we can recommend this hotel without any hesitation- it manages to be slickly professional and effi
We were satisfied with the accommodation (3 star more than 4 star) but we had a hiccup with picking up the keys for the apartment - beaware the office that holds the keys are a fair distance from the accommodation itself (we thought we had to pick up the keys from the hotel opposite the apartment). Our return flight was in the evening so after the 11.30 am checkout there is no where to store our luggage - we couldnt extend our stay as someone else was checking into our apartment - so this was a bit tricky with our 4 children.
Great stay at the H10 Marina Hotel! Great location close to a few metro stops and less than a 10minute walk to the beach and Port Olimpic where there are lots of places to eat. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and the room was ideal! Although small, the pool area was great and allowed you to soak up the sun without the faff of the beach.
Would recommend and definitely stay again :)
Occupying the area north of the Old Town, Sant Marti is the modern face of Barcelona. It includes the massive new International Convention Centre and the stunning Vila Olímpica with its Port Olímpic marina, built for the 1992 Olympics. At weekends its beach, restaurant, bars and clubs are hugely popular. Nearby, Parc de la Ciutadella is the city’s favourite green space, home to a zoo, boating lake, greenhouse and three museums.
