The carpets on the ground floor are meant to give the appearance of antique, but they are filthy and threadbare. Breakfast waitresses on Wed 10th, were mostly missing, and (worse ) inattentive. Three different ones had to be summoned, to bring 1). salt & pepper 2).a spoon for the fruit servery 3) a plate for the croissants area 4). fresh coffee. At no time were there more than twelve diners in the room.

Just the overall experience was first class even in mddle of building work. Plus staff performance second to none brilliant! Would recommend a stay to King Charles !!
