"The owners are so kind, friendly, and thoughtful! I stayed here the night before the eclipse, and because they knew people wanted to leave early the next day to beat the eclipse traffic, they moved up the start of breakfast (poached eggs and bacon hash, yum!) an hour. The hotel is beautiful and has wonderful views of the surroundings, including the lake, from windows. There is a nice loop around the lake that can be done, and hiking trails nearby. "We had a lovely stay while in the area for a friend's wedding. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the hosts were excellent, the history of the property was fascinating, and we felt so much more relaxed than if we had stayed at a "business hotel". The host greeted us when we returned each evening to ask how our day was and confirm what time we wanted breakfast the next day. Absolutely lovely experience, and we plan on returning."

"An absolutely beautiful building with almost absurdly aesthetic rooms. We needed to check in early to make a nearby wedding, and Jane was extremely accommodating, allowing us into the (already spotless) room to get ready. Plus, she made Bailey's French Toast Casserole for breakfast, and it was phenomenal. Highly recommended!"
