Preferred San Francisco Hotel

Posted 15-Sep-2016
Pros: I love the W San Francisco for it's service, convenience, and its comfort. The staff is always on point. The beds are heavenly. It's easy to get to
Cons: The service at Trace is a little uneven. Sometimes it's great, sometimes it's a little inattentive.
Location: SF MOMA, Yerba Buena, and Moscone center are all close by.
I stayed at the W for my last two nights in SF just before a cross country relocation. Honestly, I didn't leave the hotel for one day, I was loving it so much. The Bliss Spa location was super convenient and the downstairs lounge called "the Living Room" was just that! I was able to relax with friends and food before heading out which was a great way to finish up in SF.

I have stayed at this W many times and it never disappoints. Staff is alway great, rooms are delightfully comfortable, and it's close to many things.

6 block walk to ATT Park, good restaurants nearby

Posted 12-Sep-2016
Pros: THE PILLOWS!!!!
Cons: Queen beds instead of double beds would be more comfortable for 2 adults.
Location: Good location for ATT Park and Union Square shopping.
Quick easy check in with WONDERFUL staff. Sliding bathroom door was squeaky.

Nice hotel , updates needed in rooms

Posted 11-Sep-2016
Cute hotel , very busy location . It is right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle ... Which could be good if that's your thing . My only complaints are room service was horrible I just wasn't impressed with the food and the room that I was in was in major need of an upgrade !

Very expensive for what you get!!!

Room was small. No pool / spa. Parking way over priced. Bar drink/food service was slow and very few healthy food choices in the bar. Average at best!

Great Location!

Posted 28-Aug-2016
The hotel is perfectly located if you are visiting SFMOMA or for walking to AT&T stadium. Also, I needed to get to Trader Joe's over on Bryant and waited in excess of 15 minutes for a bus but the Hotel has complimentary bicycles, helmets and locks so I borrowed one of their bikes and rode over to Trader Joes. What a fantastic service to offer guests. I loved my corner room with a comfy king-size bed. The only bummer is that one night of my three night stay the room had carpet beetles but the hotel was quick to change out the bedding that night and treat the room the next day. They offered to move me to another room but it was late at night and I was too tired to transfer to another room. They were very accommodating though and very apologetic. Otherwise my stay at the hotel was fantastic including having access to the business center and being able to print for FREE my boarding passes.

The condition of the room is not good, first two floors are a club, pretty noisy at midnight! Not worth the price of expensive hotel!
