This lovely motel was a perfect oasis from which to enjoy San Fransisco and the surrounding area. The location was great and the staff very helpful. I would definitely stay there again when visiting SF.

Great little spot. Dog friendly. Walkable to all kinds of great stuff. If you don’t like noise, get a room off Lombard.We have stayed a few times now and love it. Especially the little garage spots.

Location, character, staff were wonderful, parking, and everything about the place. If you want new and shiny, don’t stay here. If you want well-functioning, clean basics near lots of restaurants, and a little oasis, this is for you!

It's a charming place with history. It has a great location. They are basically mini apartments with a garage, rather than a motel. The staff is super friendly. My biggest complaint would be that my bed was like sleeping on a slab of concrete. Otherwise, it was fine. I may not stay there again… But only because of the bed

You'd never know this property was built in 1939! The rooms are totally updated and we learned that the lush flowers were planted by the original great great grandmother owner and they're still beyond gorgeous. Even with a Lombard street facing room it was incredibly quiet. Having a lockable garage also contributed to the security factor. We had as many coffee pods that we wanted & there's a great breakfast place (cracked and battered) only a few blocks away that we walked to start the day. If we visit SF again, we’ll stay here!
