"Clean room . Beautiful location"

"Fantastic two night stay in the triple room. The food was lovely, we ate in the garden both evenings and breakfast was great too, catering for my gluten free diet which is so appreciated. The bedroom was really nice, on a main road but we didn't need the earplugs supplied. Cookies a lovely treat for my boys! Staff incredibly helpful. We walked to Salisbury through a few villages which took approx 1.15 hours which we enjoyed. Parking for guests have dedicated spaces which is also good. Plus they kindly sent my son's postcard for him. I would definitely return."

"I stay here frequently due to the ideal location for my place of work, since the hotel changed hands several years ago it hasnt been the same, its very poorly staffed, often only one or two staff in at any one time, having to deal with check-in, the bar and any resturant needs. I have stayed in numerous rooms and all seem to have no or little regular maintenance especiall the showers where a good de-scale of the heads, and repairs to the controls are neccessary. Most of the staff are very helpful however I feel the overall management of this hotel is the primary cause of the issue mentioned."

"Convenient location. Parking was round the corner and the entrance to the cathedral was across the street. Five minute walk to the shops etc. The staff was extremely helpful. Excellent breakfast. In house restaurant. Historic and quaint property which is its big charm but also means no elevators or air conditioning. All other modern amenities are present. Bathrooms are fully modern. Rooms are very clean."
