Beautiful hotel, parking is available but limited with very tight spaces and on a hill so be aware if you have a larger vehicle. Spa was lovely, staff were amazing, room was spacious. We didn't pay for a sea view, so our view was out onto a very run down and filthy roof top which made it feel more like being in the middle of a deprived city area rather than beautiful seaside resort. It didn't affect our stay, but worth knowing if you're planning a romantic getaway.

I stay in a lot of hotels with my work trips and this is one of the best if not the best place to stay. From the moment you arrive you are welcomed with a warm, helpful and happy check in. All the staff are extremely polite and go out of their way to make your stay as relaxing and pleasent as possible. Room was spacious and well appointed. Bed was big and really comfortable and the view out across the ocean was fantastic. All staff were really helpful and friendly

Property lives up to the description. The setting is charming and it was cute to be woken up by the sound of chickens. Would happily stay again. I didn’t meet the hosts but they provided such thorough information via email that I found everything.

Exceptional service from happy friendly staff. Rooms are spacious clean and comfy. The location of the hotel gives fantastic views of Newquay and beyond. Cant recommend this hotel enough and i will definitely be back!

I stayed at the here for 7 nights and it was by far one of my favorite holidays thanks to Pentire Hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly which made my first ever visit to Cornwall very relaxing. The food was lovely, the room, leisure areas were very clean as well. I have already recommended the hotel to my friends and family and will recommend it to anyone visiting Newquay and wish to have a relaxing holiday.

Nice location, dog-friendly hotel, great cafe with delicious breakfast and brunch menu. Walking distance to the beach.

First class furnishings, including very wide and comfortable bed, and good ensuite. The breakfast room was closed because of Covid 19, but the room service breakfast was very comprehensive and very generous, and delicious!

Nice modern hotel and a really great room but the attached pub not so good if you are looking to eat there - small portions and poor service

This hotel is absolutely spotless John,Lorrena and the staff are amazing,this friendly hotel is a secret I will not keep there is nothing that is too much trouble.We had a lovely weekend and the chef cooked us a lovely dinner.We will be back soon

Had a lovely stay at Pengelly Farmhouse. A beautiful properly, spotlessly clean and lovely thoughtful touches. Homemade biscuits were lovely and even some treats for our dog. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and perfectly cooked! We will most definitely be back again, thank you!

Great little find. Nothing really local in terms of walking distance, but well equipped rooms with double glazing, heating and air con, comfy beds and friendly service. Fantastic food that locals travel specifically for - would stay again if in the area.

What a great place to stay - a real home from home. Excellent hosts - Paul and Chantelle could not have made us feel more welcome. Very clean, good breakfast, great location, parking - everything we needed and more.

Lovely new modern decor, spotlessly tidy room and bathroom, great location, really quiet at night, yummy breakfast, really really friendly helpful staff, only problem was we could only get one night as they were booked!

This was just the best experience. The staff are extraordinarily friendly, the views amazing, and the greatest chef in Aaron Janes. I had the best nights of my life in an incredibly comfortable bed and a superb room. Can't wait to go back there! A huge thank you to Alan and all his staff for making my stay so very special.
