"I stayed for three nights at The White Horse. My room was in the stables block. It would be lovely to sit outside in the summertime but not in February! It was quiet, warm, and comfortable. The bed was super comfy. Tea and coffee-making facilities were provided. The full English breakfast was freshly cooked by Dave and was delicious. The White Horse is the perfect location for exploring Ripon, the cathedral and museums being within 10 minutes walk. The hornblower at the obelisk at 9pm each evening is not to be missed! I definitely recommend The White Horse."

"Such a beautiful place to spend a couple of nights over new year. It was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. We had a deluxe room which was fine for 2 nights. I might have chosen a room with larger shower but that will be for next time! Breakfast was served in our room due to covid but that worked very well. It was all tasty and fresh and good portions. The fruit and granola cup was amazing!! Amy made us feel very welcome and all the staff we met were lovely. A great place to stsy to explore the area and some fabulous places to eat too. "

"Absolutely amazing experience. Stunning hotel set in stunning grounds. Enjoyed every moment - an absolute 5 star experience. Staff so attentive and nothing too much trouble. The food and drink menus were sublime. We ate in the Sean Rankin restaurant which was a brilliant culinary experience. Would highly recommend if you want a special experience and will definitely come back next year."
