After settling in we went back down to the bar area and were made to feel very welcome, we ordered a meal and went to the restaurant the food was great. Clean, pleasing to the eye bedrooms with en suite. Large car park and brilliant restaurant on the ground floor. Very welcoming staff who made it evident we were welcome. Rural location so generally very peaceful

Good food and comfortable room

Our family get together weekend at The Old Oak Tree was supreme! Absolutely faultless from arriving, check-in, accommodation, welcome, rear patio/beer garden, drinks service, dinner food and service. Breakfast was fantastic, the whole team was attentive, polite and helpful from beginning to end - a totally positive experience. The Old Oak Tree is fabulous in all departments!!

Decor, soft furnishings clean polite and friendly

Overall atmosphere was one of the best experienced. A 3 night stop. A busy , successful country pub, restaurant, party venue does create a few problems of wear. Which will need addressing fairly soon. Certainly recommend.

friendly staff

Great location for town, has its own small car park, Mark, the owner, friendly and welcoming, Veggie breakfast lovely, clran room, clean shower, comfy bed. Would stay again if I'm in the area 😀

Food was amazing

Great hotel 10-15 minute walk into the centre. Generous sized rooms. Breakfast was great and lots of choices. Great value for money.

Very nice, big room. Very comfortable bed, good bathroom. Lovely pub. Great cooked breakfast. Friendly, good value for money.

Super clean.

Comfortable and spotless room, good breakfast but temperature of shower difficult to regulate.

We'd been upgraded into a large and very comfortable room, containing a super queen bed (we'd given no pre-warning of the reasons for our weekend away). We had a really pleasant stay with a good choice of offerings for breakfast, all of which were well cooked and presented.

Booked the willows as a last minute getaway for me and my girlfriend. As someone that stays in hotels a lot for work and rarely writes reviews, I feel after staying here , I must share my views. Customer service here is beyond impeccable. We dealt with the owner , Margaret , the owner. A proper no nonsense landlady who loves what she does and is committed to making sure you love your stay. Nothing is too much trouble. The facilities are exactly as advertised as with so many other...
