Ribeiro Frio Natural Park

Room was spotless and very modern. We didn’t have a sea view but our view over Funchal was absolutely incredible. Location very good and walkable to the old town. There are local restaurants nearby too. The hotels pool felt almost like a private pool and it was always very quiet. We also had access to the facilities at the sister hotel across the road. This included two really good pools, a gym and an indoor spa. My only slight criticism (not enough I feel to deduct any stars but something to consider) would be the self-catering element. Felt it would have been too hard to cook anything so we didn’t in the end. The pans were tiny and there was only one portable hob and the amount of cutlery and cooking tools were pretty limited. I’d recommend taking a tea towel with you too! Other than that though, I’d throughly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful views. Food was amazing and so was the service. Entertainment was great too.
